  • High Sheriff of Herefordshire

    I attended the installation of Edward Mortimer Harley as High Sheriff of Herefordshire in the Shirehall Number One Court. One of many Harleys to have occupied the office, the first being John Harley in 1549!

  • Age UK

    The High Sheriff spent the afternoon with Anne Wignall (Chair) and Hilary Knight (Deputy Chief Executive) of Age UK Shrewsbury, Telford and Wrekin. He learnt about the work of the charity and discussed ideas that the Sheriff could support during his year of office.

  • Ludlow Charity Race

    Annabel and I attended the Ludlow Charity Race day as guests of HM Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire, Sir Algernon Heber-Percy, and Lady Heber-Percy.   The event was in aid of the Oswestry Hospital Bone Cancer Appeal.

  • New High Sheriff of Shropshire
