Martin Wood is not only the world’s tallest Town Crier, he is also the second-longest serving Town Crier having been ‘Oh Yay-ing’ for an impressive 40 years, and as such, I was delighted to present him with a High Sheriff Award.

As High Sheriff, one part of the role entails acknowledging the work of individuals and organisations within our glorious county, to give those special individuals like Sally Cooke the recognition they deserve!
